Liaquat Shakoori

Liaquat Shakoori, B.Law; M.Comm., is the President of Global Channels Inc., a leading organization in the field of workforce development. He is also the senior advisor with Career & Professional Development Advisory Service, a not -for-profit corporation whose principal focus is to provide information and counseling to individuals who are unemployed or underemployed. He has more than 25 years of extensive experience in the fields of Accounting, Finance, Marketing and Sales, and Human Resource Management.

His work experience was as the Founder and President of various career colleges and schools located in Metropolitan Toronto; the general manager of an Ontario real estate and investment company; and the sales promotion officer of a U.K.-based international pharmaceutical company. He has been extensively involved in initiatives aimed at transitioning internationally trained professionals into the Canadian workplace. Liaquat is a frequent consultant to education institutions both locally and internationally on program development and delivery and lectures regularly on topics related to business management and entrepreneurial skills in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan.



Dr. Terry Miosi

A published Egyptologist in academic specialty, Dr. Miosi moved quickly after receiving his PhD from the University of Toronto into the University’s School of Continuing Studies where he served initially as Coordinator of Liberal Studies and Professional Development and then as Executive Director of The New University-Level Adult Education Learning Centre of Toronto. He moved into the private sector as Executive Director, Shaw Business Colleges (1983-1987). Based on that experience he was appointed Supervisor, Private Vocational Schools, Ministry of Education and Training, Province of Ontario (1987-1993) and then Deputy Superintendent and Manager, Private Vocational Schools Unit, Ministry of Education and Training, Province of Ontario (1993-2001).

Dr. Miosi’s experience in assessing the academic and financial condition of private schools and colleges provided valuable background for his appointment as Senior Policy Advisor in the new Postsecondary Education Quality Assessment Board formed in 2001 to oversee the introduction of new degree-granting institutions and their programs, and served as Acting Manager/Director (2006-09). Since then he has been the Senior Consultant, Qualifications Framework Project, United Arab Emirates, and a Partner in Quality Assessors International which has undertaken external assessments of national higher educational quality assessment agencies and institutions. His most recent assignments were at the King Fahd University of Petroleum and Mining and Qassim University in Saudi Arabia, Canadian University of Dubai.



Dr. Hui Zhang

Dr. Hui Zhang is a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Toronto, Canada. He is a Professional Engineer of Ontario with more than twenty years of teaching and work experience in complex mechanical systems design and development.

Dr. Zhang received his Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University in China in 1994. He was an associate professor in Mechanical Engineering at Northeastern University. He also was a visiting scholar at Appalachian State University in North Carolina, USA and research associate at Florida International University, USA. He has written five 3D design tutorial books for SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, SolidEdge, ProEngineer and CATIA. Two of them were published in USA in May 2003. He has been teaching 3D design software in Toronto since 2000.



Haqi Al-Ganabi (P.Eng)

Mr. Haqi Al-Ganabi P.Eng is a Senior Civil Engineer in BSG Consulting Engineers, Toronto, Canada. He is a Professional Engineer in Ontario with more than twenty-five years of teaching and work experience in designing, supervising and managing industrial, residential and transportation projects.

Mr. Alganabi is an experienced instructor who developed new ways to approach and understand the construction industry. He always brings to his students the latest ideas, technology, and procedures that are required and observed in the construction market and in the industry.

Mr. Alganabi received his degree in Civil Engineering from University of Mosul in 1979. In 1983 he accomplished his first research in Concrete rehabilitation which changed the national code followed by many researches in pavement design and material technology. This has thus allowed him to add two Diplomas to his profile. In 1986 he worked as an associate Civil Engineering Professor at Babylon Technical Institute, then as a senior project manager in many international projects funded by the united nations. Following this he also worked with many consulting companies in Toronto such as Earthonics Engineering, Terraprobe Consulting Engineers, Peto-MacCallum Consulting Engineers, and as a Vice President with GET Engineering. Since 2003 he holds the position of Manager with BSG Consulting Engineers, which offers specialized engineering services in Canada. During his long years of site and office experience he was involved in most of the big projects in the city of Toronto and the surrounding areas such as the new terminal building at Pearson International airport, Provincial Highways and bridges, high-rise buildings, new subdivisions and residential units in addition to his work on many historical buildings in Ontario.



Dr. Gagik Bakhshyan

Gagik Bakhshyan has more than 20 years of experience not only in accounting and accounting software, but also in economics and financial management.

His credentials include a Ph.D. in Economics and a University Diploma in Accounting. He has worked as an associate professor at Yerevan State University, a senior economist at the Center for Economics Policy Research and Analysis/ USAID and a consultant at World Bank.



Prof. Nadeem Ahmad Bhatti

Dr. Nadeem Ahmad Bhatti did his Master Degree from Pakistan, post-graduation and PhD from Australia. Dr. Bhatti has a vast experience of teaching and training in Business, Marketing, Management and Finance areas in Canada, Australia and Pakistan. He is author of many research articles published in various journals throughout the world. Dr. Bhatti is expert in Human Resources, Organizational Behavior, Marketing and other Business related areas.

Dr. Bhatti has a vast multicultural exposure. He had been a member of Academic Senate at Flinders University of South Australia. He was elected as President International Students at University of New England, New South Wales, Australia. Before coming to Canada, Dr. Bhatti had been working as Head of the Department at University of the Punjab in Pakistan. He has been a Member Senate at University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan.

He has been executive development trainer with various organizations including Banks, Manufacturing Companies, Airlines, IT Companies, Telecommunication, Health Care and Educational Institutions.



Dr. Nicholas Herten-Greaven, BSc (McGill) MBBS (London)

Dr. Nicholas Herten-Greaven is retired medical doctor, experienced academic and consultant, actively involved in the design, implementation and delivery of heath related programs.

Dr. Nicholas has more than 50 years of experience in clinical medicine, including more than 15 years in clinical research training. Dr. Nicholas is also an experienced educator with an in-depth knowledge of the Canadian Healthcare System. He brings an exposure to, and an in-depth understanding of analysis of interface issues between practicing healthcare professionals such as clinical doctors, nurses and other delivery end streams, and research investigators, trialists, healthcare managers and bureaucrats (MOHLTC, MTCU) that provide and deliver new knowledge to the system in the first place.



Rizwan Wali

Rizwan Wali holds a master's degree in business administration (MBA-Finance) from Stuart School of Business, Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago, USA, and possesses more than twenty years of practical experience where he has demonstrated knowledge and ability to work effectively with individuals and groups having a variety of identities, cultures, and backgrounds in a global environment. He also enjoys working in academia and occasionally teaches finance courses at a few business schools. In addition, he has worked as a business, financial, and immigration consultant as well.

Rizwan Wali has conducted extensive research on the modern fundamentals of the theory of finance and their practical applications for business organizations. Specifically, his research addressed how business managers could more effectively use contemporary financial tools to create, enhance, and maximize the value of an organization. He thoroughly investigated how business manager could practically utilize economic and financial theory to obtain solutions to financial problems, such as choosing among alternative investment projects and evaluating proposed investment strategies, as well as effective application of some useful financial concepts, such as cash flow analysis, capital budgeting, short- and long-term financial planning, cost of capital, financial leverage, dividend policy, and so forth. His investments research covered the fundamentals of bond and option pricing as well as equity valuation techniques. Besides, over the years he has also developed a keen interest in analyzing derivative instruments, such as options, futures, and forwards, and their significance in financial risk management.




Nadeem Qaiser

Nadeem Qaiser, MSc-IT has over 20 years’ experience in the areas of Software Development, IT Management, Teaching and IT Operations, in the Education Industry. He has lead and been part of the development teams of various Software and Applications Systems, such as Student Information System, Learning Management System (e-learning), Electronic Procurement System, and Interactive Voice Response (IVR) System in reputed Universities and Colleges in different countries.

Over the years, Nadeem has also taught many IT related courses, such as Computer Applications, Computer Networking and Oracle E-Business Suite (Financials).

He also has extensive experience of managing IT Operations and has been administering Information Systems and CRM, such as Salesforce.



Tanveer Usmani

Tanveer Usmani has a Master Degrees in Information Systems Management and Computer Science from USA. He also has many certifications, such as Microsoft Certified Trainer(MCT), Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) inMicrosoft Enterprise Messaging Administrator 2007/2010, Enterprise Desktop Administrator 7,Windows Server 2008 R2, Virtualization Administrator, Lync Server Administrator 2010. His other Microsoft Certifications include Microsoft Forefront Client and Server,Microsoft System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM), Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), Microsoft System Center Operation Manager (SCOM),Microsoft Windows Small Business Server (SBS) 2008, Microsoft SQL Server 2008, Implementation and Maintenance. Beside Microsoft, Tanveer also has ITIL, VMWare, CompTIA and CCNA certifications as well.

He has extensive industry and teaching experience of Operating Systems, Server Setup and Management



Najm Malik

Najm Malik is a Mechanical Engineer with MBA (MIS) degree from USA. He has over 25 years teaching experience in Middle East and North America. He has been teaching Databases (Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server), Programming languages & tools (PL/SQL, Oracle Developer, PowerBuilder), Database Designing Tools (Oracle Designer, PowerDesigner)
